First website for a Brighton-based fire, security and electrical company
Project overview:
Westguard was in its infancy when owner Jane asked us to create a website. She was unclear what she wanted the website to look like, or how to get her message across to potential customers, but she knew her business needed a website.
After in-depth discussions to drill down into her business, we decided to create a seven-page website.
Jane opted for our content writing service, and Janet crafted the website content to ensure visitors fully understand Jane’s services and have the confidence to pick up the phone.

Work included:
- Design and build using WordPress
- Copywriting
- Individual sections for each of the services offered
- A bespoke map was created to showcase the areas Westguard covers
- Integrated WhatsApp chat
- Contact form: a general contact form
Ongoing services:
- Monthly maintenance to ensure that WordPress and plugins are kept up to date.
- Uptime monitoring
- Off-site backups
- Security reviews
- Content updates – Jane’s business has gone from strength to strength and has expanded over the years, which has required updates to the content.
Client feedback:
“From start to finish, Paula made everything easy. I was very unsure what I wanted at first, but Paula helped me every step of the way. The website looks amazing and better than I could have hoped. Paula has put in so much time and effort with this and it shows. I couldn’t be more happy with it and recommend Decimus design to anyone!“
