Dave, the owner of The Eatery, wanted a website that reflected The Eatery’s values and provided a copy of the menu. It was important that the menu was embedded into the site and viewable on all devices, not a downloadable PDF.
Decimus designed the website using WordPress, and incorporated an identical version of the cafe’s menu. Additional pages were added for the cafe’s private dining and a contact us, recruitment page.
Ged, the owner of Powerwheels, is an experienced WordPress user but needed help designing and building his Powerwheels website.
After discussions with Ged about his likes, dislikes and what he required from his website, Decimus designed and built the website using WordPress.
Once completed and approved, Ged was free to take control of the website, adding pages, when required, and posts to his news section.
Isle of Man event catering company, Function Caterers wanted a website to showcase their services and handle client inquiries at all times of the day or night.

An online contact form on the website’s “Contact Us” page allows visitors to submit details of their function: venue, number of guests, budget etc. and their contact details, and means Dave can receive inquiries even when he’s in the middle of an event and unable to take phone calls.
Liverpool and Isle-of-Man-based Interior Designer Samuel Fry approached Decimus Design to create the website for his new interior design business.
It was important for Samuel to be able to showcase all his services, but he also needed a news section he could update with details of his latest projects.

Decimus Design recently redesigned the website for the Isle of Man Indoor Bowling Association (IOMIBA).
The IOMIBA had an old, outdated website, which wasn’t responsive and was difficult to read on mobile devices..
The association required a new website which was viewable on any device; allowed their fixtures officer to upload fixtures and results without any technical knowledge, and had a news section that was easy to update.
The bowling website was built using WordPress with embedded PDF fixtures, which can be viewed online and also downloaded and printed off by members.
The web pages from the old site were forwarded to the relevant pages of the new site to prevent loss of traffic and assist members in transitioning to the new site.
