Website and food ordering system for an IOM event catering company
Project overview:
Isle of Man event catering company, Function Caterers wanted a website to showcase their services and handle client inquiries at all times of the day or night.
Decimus designed and built their website using WordPress, which enables owner Dave to update the website himself – adding latest photos of functions and recent testimonials, when required.
An online contact form on the website’s “Contact Us” page allows visitors to submit details of their function: venue, number of guests, budget etc. and their contact details, and means Dave can receive inquiries even when he’s in the middle of an event and unable to take phone calls.

Work included:
- Design and build using WordPress
- Embeded menus – Dave didn’t want PDFs
- Enquiry form to enable Dave to collect information needed for function enquiries, including date, number of guests, venue etc.
Ongoing services:
- Content updates – over the years, we’ve provided content updates, swapped out images and added a the food ordering system

- Date and time of delivery
- Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location
- Dietary and allergen notification and acceptance check box at checkout, which keeps a record in the admin backend
- Order notification customisations
